Volante is a hardwearing, high-traffic entrance mat optimised for moisture absorption. This mat works best in combination with an outdoor mat, enabling Volante to keep entrance areas, staircases, kitchenettes and lifts free of moisture and dirt. A luxury entrance mat that suits commercial buildings and medium-sized and large offices.
Volante owes its luxurious look and lively surface structure to its friséed construction. The mat feels comfortable and has a warm, soft appearance. The resilient pile and the mottled design work together to keep dirt out of sight. Subtle pinpoints of colour contribute to this effect. The selected yarns provide warm, rich, colour definition.
Volante is particularly good at absorbing moisture. The backing is made of phthalate-free PVC, which protects the surface from walked-in moisture. Volante is also available with Pura Backing, the environmentally friendly and easy-to-lay alternative.
Design
Volante has the image of cotton. The highly friséed, springy, cut pile gives this mat a lively texture with a soft-grained feel. In addition to the classic colours of blue, red and granite, there are three brown tones in the palette. These colours complement wood tones in the interior, whether red wood types (like mahogany) or greyish (like oak). Anthracite works well with natural stone floors.
