Aqua 85 is the best performing mat when it comes to dirt absorption, thanks to the Twin Fibre pile construction. A product innovation in which hard scraping yarns and thin moisture absorbing yarns are tufted next to each other for ultimate dirt absorption. A luxury mat with a warm appearance for high traffic use (class 33) at top locations that want to be and remain representative.

Twin Fibre is a unique tufting method, specifically applied to Aqua 85. The separated loop piles provide an open structure. The mat easily absorbs dirt, hides it perfectly and is easily vacuumed. The special, blended pattern is partly created because the scraping yarn is matched in color to the absorbent yarn.

Aqua 85 is made of ECONYL®, regenerated nylon. If required, the mat is available with a PVC-free Pura Backing. A particularly sustainable mat: 70% consists of recycled raw materials.

Each mat is individually packaged. This keeps the mats clean and ensures easy delivery. Aqua 85 is available in various sizes with a 2.5 cm border all around – also in rolls up to 10 meters in length – for easy and quick loose laying on existing floors.

Pura Backing™ makes walk-off entrance mats more sustainable by avoiding the use of PVC and plasticisers. It’s the response to increasing demand by commercial and residential decorators for environmental sensitivity and sustainability, down to the last details – even when it comes to entrance mats. Mats with Pura Backing™ meet this requirement – with zero PVC and plasticiser content, avoiding stains on porous subfloors. Thanks to increased flexibility, it is even easier to install!

Made from ECONYL^® regenerated nylon

ECONYL^® nylon is made from 100% waste material like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpeting and industrial plastic, which would otherwise pollute the earth. ECONYL^® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns for interior applications. Rinos uses ECONYL^® yarns to create more sustainable products and a better environment. Every square metre of walk-off mat made with ECONYL^® instead of virgin nylon saves more than 5 kg eq CO₂ emissions.
