Promotap is a coir doormat, best used in residential environments. It offers excellent moisture absorption and dirt scraping performance.
The coir from which Promotap is made is a natural material. The fibres are then mechanically spun. This gives the mat a uniform, regular pattern with minimum fibre loss. Contrary to popular belief, coir can retain a lot of moisture. This is enhanced by the special surface texture of the material.
Promotap is available in a range of pile depths. The use of a unique, fibreglass scrim makes Promotap extremely dimensionally stable, with minimal stretching or shrinking.
Promotap prevents the spread of moisture and dirt. The result is lower maintenance and cleaning costs, for all floors. The phthalate-free PVC backing also protects the underlying floor from walked-in moisture.
We supply Promotap in a classic, dark, coir colour. Solid, simple and robust. Promotap is the timeless product of more than 90 years of experience and craftsmanship.
Design
Promotap has the classic look of coir, with a somewhat looser texture. This ‘straightforward’ mat displays the natural colour variations that are unique to the material used. With their familiar texture, coir mats generally combine well with both traditional and modern interiors.
