Walk-off entrance mats with Pura Backing™ not only come in a variety of qualities and designs – they are also absolutely PVC-free and thus less harmful to the environment. Pura Backing™ is made of polyurethane, filled with calcium carbonate.
No plasticizers – No stains
Mats with Pura Backing™ contain no chlorides or plasticizers. So there’s no floor discoloration or stickiness due to plasticiser migration under mats with Pura Backing™. For residential and commercial furnishers this solves the common problem of discoloration. Beautiful floors remain beautiful, even under the entrance mat, and require less maintenance.
Easy to install
Mats with Pura Backing™ weigh less and are very flexible. So they’re easy to install, for example in mat wells. And, if laid loose, are easy to move when vacuuming and mopping the entrance floor area. Loose laid Pura Backing™ mats have a flat edge trim all around that reduces the chance of tripping and protects the mat against wear.
